Occupation and job role- Proprietor of GEV Chapman and Son, a piano tuning and repair company established in 1979. The business has over 2200 private customers and since 2001 has also tuned the pianos for the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Town Hall, National Indoor Arena (NIA) National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO). I tune all the pianos in these venues as well as handling all the administrative side of the business, whilst my two employees tune for our private customers.
Interests and hobbies- My hobbies are power kiting, motorbikes, photography and cooking. I also enjoy walking our two Springer Spaniels. I adore cooking and I’m always looking for new recipes, curries being a speciality. I have two motorbikes, one for touring and the other a high performance sports bike.
Favourite food-I like all foods but would have to choose Italian as my favourite with Asian food a very close second.
If I had one wish- It would be to make my wife enjoy good health again.
